Terms for using basmate.

basmate helps users organise receipts, warranties, expenses and BAS-related records. It is not accounting software and does not provide tax, accounting or financial advice.

You are responsible for the accuracy of records, receipt details, categories, warranty information and reports you create or export.

You must provide accurate account information and keep login details secure.

If you invite team members, you are responsible for their access and activity unless caused by basmate's breach of these terms.

Free, Basic and Pro plan details may vary by platform and availability.

Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google are billed and managed through the customer's respective app store account.

AI receipt scanning is a Pro/paid automation feature and is credit based. Current monthly inclusions are Free: 5 credits, Basic: 20 credits and Pro: 50 credits.

Credit allowances, pricing, expiry rules, promotional credits and feature availability may change without notice. Unused credits have no cash value and may not roll over unless basmate states otherwise.

You must not misuse basmate, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious content, interfere with the service, scrape data, or use the app for unlawful or deceptive purposes.

Do not upload payment card numbers, passwords or unnecessary sensitive information into receipt notes, warranty files or support forms.

You keep ownership of records and documents you upload. You grant basmate the rights needed to host, process, back up, secure, support and operate the service.

AI-extracted details, suggested categories, GST amounts and report outputs may be incorrect. You must review and correct information before relying on saved records, exports or reports.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, basmate is not responsible for errors, losses, damages, penalties or business decisions caused by unreviewed or incorrect AI output.

We aim to keep basmate reliable, but the service may be affected by maintenance, connectivity, app store services, third-party providers or technical issues.

Cloud backup depends on plan, account status, connectivity and supported services. No backup system guarantees that data can never be lost.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, basmate is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, lost data, business interruption or decisions made from unreviewed records.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
